May 4th, 2009Alas, just like that another weekend has passed. At least I can say I had a good time with mooshoo, zero, and jelly at the dog park for zero’s birthday bash! After all that excitement at the park, I still managed to record two mixes. Yup a very busy weekend for me, dog parks, mexican food, and mixxx’s!
Did anyone else happen to notice how HOT it was this weekend? I think its going to be one crazy warm summer here in the 305. Besides that, I dont have much more to say other than enjoy the mix. And comments are always appreciated!

April 21st, 2009I keep finding myself saying this- and everyone pretty much agrees, its fuking _INSANE_ how FAST the weeks & months are FLYING in MIAMI! Feels like newyears is bout to creep around the corner.
OK I know - STFU and less QQing. Considering how this week did indeed start on a Holiday, Monday April 20th! And I know many peoples was celebrating. In spirit of that celebration (and also because the somali pirates might need something to listen too while chilling in NY) I recorded another mixxx here @ the lab. This maybe recorded pretty loud, I did not realize volume was “in the red” and possibly distorting as I am too lazy to fix volumes in audacity. My Alpine just LOL’s at this shit, if it blows your speakers I am really not sorry .

The INCREDIBLE Alpine R12 Subwoofer -, 
- was my great christmas gift from my lovely girlfriend. I thank you Olga every time I drive my car and quad for giving me this gift of such great bass!
As a result, I find myself looking for any and every excuse to drive my car and crank the sub! For all that driving I need something to fuel the beast! That is why i am so very glad I still have 90 of the 120gigs free on the ipod. Oh yes its also especially great that gas is no problem in the Civic SI @ ~2$ a gallon- but my car is no beast, just the R12. And yea I could/should be taking the metro-rail to work, but I figure I did enough walking between last October and November when my car was in the shop back2back after being victim of two car accidents 
Oh yee - And I got this Alpine, the train don’t..
Hence I am always making new play-lists to enjoy during my horrid commute on US1, since its so great at making a 20 minute drive into an hour and 20 minute gridlocked nightmare (and i got this Alpine R12)! I think Without my woofer I would be a lot more stressed, almost as if its the bass that soothes derbot. :-X You can call it result of boredom, or too much free time on my hands since i quit world of warcrack. These play lists usually become .mp3 mixxx’s I host as smoothy@deroboter.com, recorded in my spare time either in ableton or on torq/serato @ my bedroom studio. Here are the newest trainwrecks for tommorows carwreck while im omw to the jayohbee.
